To educate Jewish teens about the Holocaust as a watershed event in Jewish history and in the history of humanity, and instill in teens responsibility to actively preserve and perpetuate the memory of the Holocaust for future generations.
Participation in Holocaust Legacy Fellows in the pilot year (2018-2019) is by invitation and will include 14 Jewish teens who:

The trip will be staffed by Jody Kipnis, Todd Ruderman, Holocaust educator, Deborah Coltin, two adult counselors, an experienced Holocaust tour guide, and a security guard.
Holocaust Legacy Fellows is funded and Co-Directed by Jody Kipnis and Todd Ruderman and implemented in partnership with Lappin Foundation.

A refundable deposit of $500 will be required upon teen's acceptance to the program. The deposit will be refunded upon successful completion of the program requirements.
